About Escrowed GMX
Escrowed GMX (esGMX) is a non-transferable reward token within the GMX decentralized exchange ecosystem. It is primarily earned through staking GMX or GLP and can be used in two ways: staked to earn the same rewards as regular GMX tokens (escrowed GMX, multiplier points, and ETH/AVAX fees) or vested over a one-year period to be converted into liquid GMX tokens. This mechanism is designed to incentivize long-term participation and liquidity provision on the GMX perpetual and spot exchange.
