About Lido DAO
LDO is the native governance token for the Lido DAO, a leading liquid staking protocol. It serves as the primary instrument for participating in the protocol's decentralized governance, allowing holders to vote on key parameters such as fee distributions, node operator management, new integrations, and ecosystem upgrades. Lido provides a liquid staking solution that enables users to stake Proof-of-Stake assets like ETH without locking their capital, receiving liquid staking tokens in return to maintain utility across the DeFi ecosystem. LDO is also used for protocol-level decisions and managing the DAO treasury.
