About Shiba Inu
Shiba Inu (SHIB) is a decentralized meme cryptocurrency launched in August 2020 by an anonymous creator known as Ryoshi. Originally released as an Ethereum-based ERC-20 token and nicknamed the "Dogecoin killer," it has since expanded into a vibrant decentralized ecosystem. This ecosystem includes ShibaSwap, a decentralized exchange, and a governance structure managed through the Doggy DAO. SHIB gained widespread attention when 50% of its initial supply was sent to Vitalik Buterin, who subsequently burned 40% of the total supply and donated the remaining 10% to a COVID-19 relief effort in India. The asset operates alongside other ecosystem tokens, including LEASH (incentive token) and BONE (governance token).
