About veAERO
veAERO is the vote-escrowed version of the AERO token, the native utility asset of the Aerodrome protocol on the Base network. Issued as a non-fungible token (NFT) to users who stake their AERO tokens, veAERO grants holders governance rights, including the ability to vote on token emissions for liquidity pools and earn a share of protocol fees. It serves as a central component of Aerodrome's ve(3,3) incentive model, acting as a liquidity hub for the ecosystem.
