WHBAR is the Hedera Token Service (HTS) version of HBAR, the native cryptocurrency of the Hedera network. Similar to the relationship between ETH and ERC-20 tokens, HBAR must be wrapped as WHBAR to interact with smart contracts and decentralized applications within the Hedera ecosystem, such as SaucerSwap.
