About Wrapped Kaspa
Wrapped Kaspa (wKAS) is a tokenized version of the Kaspa (KAS) digital currency, designed to increase interoperability between the Kaspa network and other ecosystems such as Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Polygon. Issued as an ERC-20 token (and equivalent standards on other chains), wKAS is backed 1:1 by Kaspa held in reserve by custodians like Chainge. This wrapping process allows Kaspa holders to participate in decentralized finance (DeFi) activities, including trading on decentralized exchanges (DEXs), lending, and yield farming, while maintaining exposure to the value of KAS.
