About Ampleforth
Ampleforth (AMPL) is a digital asset protocol for smart commodity money with a unique elastic supply mechanism. Unlike traditional stablecoins, AMPL's supply expands or contracts daily in response to price deviations from its target (the CPI-adjusted 1 USD). This rebase process automatically adjusts the number of tokens in every holder's wallet pro-rata, aiming to return the price to its peg. As a decentralized unit of account and collateral asset, AMPL is designed to be uncorrelated with other digital assets like Bitcoin.
