Pipe Network (PIPE) is the native utility token for a decentralized edge supercloud built on Solana that integrates content delivery (CDN), storage, and AI inference into a permissionless infrastructure. It utilizes a community-run model of hyperlocal Points of Presence (PoPs) to provide low-latency compute and data delivery, aiming to reduce costs significantly compared to traditional centralized providers. The PIPE token functions within a burn-to-credit model where users burn tokens to acquire Data Credits (DCs) for bandwidth, storage, and compute resources. The network employs cryptographic proofs to verify performance and trustless payments between users and node operators.
