About The Sandbox
SAND is the native utility token for The Sandbox, a decentralized, community-driven metaverse platform built primarily on the Ethereum blockchain. It functions as the primary medium of exchange within the ecosystem, enabling users to buy, sell, and trade digital voxel assets (ASSETS) and virtual real estate (LAND) on the platform's marketplace. As an ERC-20 token, SAND is also used for staking, value transfer, and governance, allowing holders to participate in decision-making processes regarding project development and the management of the DAO. The platform allows creators to build, share, and monetize gaming experiences and 3D assets through a suite of tools including VoxEdit and the Game Maker.
