SAUCE is the native utility and governance token of SaucerSwap, a leading decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol on the Hedera network. The token serves multiple functions within the ecosystem, including governance through the SaucerSwap DAO, incentivizing liquidity providers via the Masterchef smart contract, and staking. SAUCE holders can stake their tokens to earn a share of trading fees, HBAR staking rewards, and emissions through an automated buyback mechanism. The protocol utilizes the Hedera Token Service (HTS) to provide high throughput and low-cost transactions.
