About Solend
SLND is the native utility and governance token for Solend (now rebranded to Save), an algorithmic, decentralized protocol for lending and borrowing on the Solana blockchain. Functioning similarly to Aave or Compound, the protocol allows users to earn interest by lending assets and to use deposits as collateral for borrowing. The SLND token enables users to participate in protocol governance and is a key component of the ecosystem's interest rate mechanism. The project has recently migrated to a new token contract under the name Save (SAVE).
