About Treehouse
TREE is the native utility and governance token for Treehouse, a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol focused on building fixed income infrastructure for the digital asset market. The ecosystem utilizes two primary primitives: Decentralized Offered Rates (DOR), a benchmark rate-setting mechanism inspired by LIBOR for on-chain yields, and tAssets, which are liquid staking token (LST) wrappers designed to arbitrage rate discrepancies across lending markets. Together, these tools enable the creation of interest rate swaps, fixed-rate loans, and forward rate agreements to stabilize DeFi rates.
