About TrueUSD
TrueUSD (TUSD) is a fiat-backed stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the U.S. dollar, issued by Techteryx. It distinguishes itself as the first digital asset to implement live, on-chain attestations by independent third-party accounting firms to verify its USD reserves in real-time. TUSD utilizes Chainlink Proof of Reserve (PoR) to secure the minting process and enhance transparency. The asset is multi-chain, operating across networks such as Ethereum, TRON, Avalanche, BNB Chain, and Polygon. In 2022, it was granted statutory status as an authorized digital currency in the Commonwealth of Dominica. Note: As of late 2025, the asset has been subject to legal disputes and freeze orders regarding its reserves in certain jurisdictions.
