About Ardor
ARDR is the native utility and governance token of the Ardor platform, a multichain blockchain-as-a-service (BaaS) ecosystem. Built on the Nxt technology stack, Ardor utilizes a unique parent-child chain architecture where the parent chain (Ardor) provides security and decentralization through a Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism, while customizable child chains handle specific business applications. ARDR tokens are used for forging to secure the network and are required for the bundling process that groups child chain transactions into the parent chain.
