About Cartesi
CTSI is the native utility and governance token of the Cartesi ecosystem, an app-specific execution environment that enables developers to build rollups using traditional software stacks and Linux-based environments. As an ERC-20 token, CTSI serves three primary functions: governance, where holders can vote on ecosystem proposals; staking, which allows users to earn rewards and participate in the network's security; and ecosystem support through a validator marketplace. The token incentivizes honest behavior from validators and allows users to delegate their stake to service providers, bridging the gap between traditional programming and decentralized infrastructure.
