About Helium
Helium (HNT) is the native token of the Helium Network, a decentralized wireless network designed to provide connectivity for Internet of Things (IoT) devices and mobile users. Originally launched on its own physical blockchain and later migrated to the Solana blockchain as an SPL-compatible token, HNT is earned by Hotspot operators for providing and validating wireless coverage. The token serves as the primary utility asset within the ecosystem, where it can be burned to create Data Credits (DC) required for data transmission, or used for network participation and governance.
