Orbs is a decentralized Layer-3 (L3) blockchain infrastructure designed to enhance on-chain trading by providing CeFi-level execution to DeFi protocols. It operates as a separate execution layer between Layer-1/Layer-2 solutions and the application layer, enabling advanced features like aggregated liquidity, sophisticated trading orders, and decentralized derivatives. The ORBS token is the native utility asset of the network, used to pay commissions for executed applications and as a staking incentive to select validators and ensure network integrity through a Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism.
