About QuarkChain
QKC is the native utility token of QuarkChain, a high-capacity, sharding-based blockchain network designed to solve the scalability trilemma. The asset functions as a unit of value within a two-layered architecture consisting of elastic sharding blockchains and a root blockchain. QKC is used for transaction fees, incentivizing network participants through collaborative mining, and supporting cross-shard transactions. Originally launched as an ERC-20 token, it transitioned to a native mainnet asset with the launch of the QuarkChain mainnet, while maintaining compatibility for token swaps between the two formats.
