CFG is the native utility and governance token of Centrifuge, a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol designed to bridge real-world assets (RWA) to the blockchain. The token is used to secure the Centrifuge chain, pay for transaction fees, and participate in governance. Built on Polkadot for high speed and low fees, Centrifuge enables users to finance real-world assets through its Tinlake dApp, which accesses liquidity from the Ethereum ecosystem.
