CYPR is the core utility and incentive token of the Cypher ecosystem, a blockchain protocol built on the Base network designed to replace traditional loyalty systems like credit card points and airline miles. The protocol employs a voting-escrow (ve) model inspired by Curve and Aerodrome, where users lock CYPR to receive veCYPR NFTs. These NFTs grant voting power to direct merchant incentives and earn bribes. CYPR facilitates a real-world payment economy through integration with Cypher's non-custodial crypto card and multi-chain wallet infrastructure, supporting EVM and Cosmos chains.
