In 2024, the original GAL token migrated to G to support the launch of Gravity, a high-performance Layer 1 blockchain optimized for mass adoption and omnichain interactions. As a cross-chain asset, G serves as the native gas token for the Gravity network, secures the blockchain through staking, and facilitates governance, payments, and incentivized growth within the Galxe credential and engagement platform. Galxe provides infrastructure for digital identity, onboarding, and engagement automation for web3 projects.
