About Holo
Holo (HOT) is an ERC-20 utility token that serves as a placeholder for HoloFuel, the native mutual-credit currency of the Holo network. Holo is a distributed peer-to-peer hosting platform for Holochain applications (dApps), designed to bridge the gap between the distributed Holochain ecosystem and the centralized web. Unlike traditional blockchains, Holochain uses an agent-centric architecture where each user maintains their own source chain, eliminating the need for global consensus and enabling high scalability and energy efficiency. The HOT token was launched to fund the development of the ecosystem and will be swappable 1:1 for HoloFuel upon the network's full launch.
