Ontology Gas (ONG) is the utility token of the Ontology network, a high-performance public blockchain and distributed trust collaboration platform. Operating on a dual-token model alongside ONT, ONG is used to fuel on-chain services, including transaction fees and smart contract execution. While ONT is used for governance and staking, ONG is released periodically to ONT holders and stakers as a reward for securing the network.
