SCRT is the native utility and governance token of the Secret Network, a Layer 1 blockchain built on the Cosmos SDK that focuses on computational privacy. Unlike traditional blockchains where data is public by default, Secret Network enables "Secret Contracts" that perform computations over encrypted data, ensuring privacy for decentralized applications (Secret Apps).
