About Tokamak Network
TON is the native utility token of the Tokamak Network, an Ethereum Layer 2 protocol designed to enhance scalability and extendability through the use of Plasma chains. The token serves multiple roles within the ecosystem, including as an incentive for decentralizing Plasma chains, where operators must deposit TON to open a chain. It is also used to charge 'Stamina,' the transaction fee mechanism within the network's Plasma chains. Note: This asset is distinct from Toncoin (also ticker TON), the native cryptocurrency of The Open Network.
