About Tellor
Tellor Tributes (TRB) is the native utility and governance token of the Tellor protocol, a decentralized oracle network. TRB is used to incentivize data reporters to provide accurate off-chain data to on-chain smart contracts, secure the network through staking, and facilitate community governance. The system allows parties to request specific data points which are then added to an on-chain data bank by a network of reporters, providing a standard source of high-value data for decentralized applications across multiple blockchain ecosystems.
