About USDG0
USDG0 is a bridged version of the Global Dollar (USDG) stablecoin, utilizing LayerZero's Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard to enable cross-chain interoperability. It functions as a representation of USDG on blockchains where Paxos does not natively issue the asset, such as Aptos, Hyperliquid, and Plume. USDG0 tokens are minted when original USDG is locked in audited contracts, maintaining a strict 1:1 backing and allowing for redemption by unlocking the corresponding assets on the origin chain.
