wCELO is a wrapped version of the CELO token, the native asset of the Celo network. It is designed to enable the use of CELO within decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystems on other blockchains and within specific protocols, facilitating cross-chain interoperability and liquidity. As a wrapped asset, it maintains a 1:1 peg with the value of the underlying CELO token.
