About Celestia
TIA is the native utility and governance token of Celestia, a modular data availability (DA) network that decouples execution from consensus to enhance scalability. Within the ecosystem, TIA is used by developers to pay for data availability (blobspace), secure the network through staking in a Proof of Stake (PoS) mechanism, and participate in decentralized governance. It also serves as a gas token for rollups and blockchains leveraging Celestia's data availability sampling infrastructure.
