About Derive
DRV is the native utility and governance token of Derive, a decentralized protocol for programmable onchain options, perpetuals, and structured products. Operating on the Derive Chain—an Ethereum rollup built using the OP stack—the token allows holders to participate in the Derive DAO, which governs the protocol and earns trading and gas fees. DRV is also used to power liquidity and rewards across the ecosystem, including its AI-powered trading platform designed for professional traders.
