About Dymension
DYM is the native utility and governance token of Dymension, a modular blockchain network designed to power RollApps. The token is central to the network's economy and security, serving multiple roles including the payment of transaction fees, staking to secure the network through validator rewards, and enabling holders to participate in on-chain governance. Additionally, RollApp sequencers are required to stake DYM to operate within the ecosystem, which utilizes the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) standard for interoperability.
