About Rocket Pool
Rocket Pool (RPL) is the primary utility and governance token for the Rocket Pool protocol, a decentralized Ethereum liquid staking network. RPL is used by node operators as a form of insurance collateral to protect the network and is also rewarded to them as an incentive for providing services. Unlike many fixed-supply DeFi tokens, RPL features a 5% annual inflation rate designed to reward protocol participants and ensure long-term sustainability. The token enables decentralized governance, allowing holders to participate in the decision-making process of the Rocket Pool ecosystem.
