About Reserve Rights
Reserve Rights (RSR) is an ERC-20 utility and governance token for the Reserve protocol. It serves two primary functions: providing overcollateralization for Reserve stablecoins (RTokens) through staking and enabling governance by allowing holders to propose and vote on configuration changes. RSR stakers act as a backstop, providing first-loss capital in the event of a collateral token default, and in return, they receive a portion of the revenue generated by the RTokens they support. The token was launched in 2019 to align incentives around the long-term health and stability of the Reserve ecosystem.
