About Casper
CSPR is the native utility and governance token of the Casper Network, a Proof-of-Stake Layer-1 blockchain launched in March 2021. The token is used to power and secure the network, pay for transaction fees, and reward validators for maintaining the Zug (formerly Highway) consensus protocol. Designed for enterprise and developer adoption, the asset facilitates the tokenization of real-world assets and supports upgradable smart contracts and multiple virtual machines (VMs) running in parallel.
