About Groestlcoin
Groestlcoin (GRS) is a proof-of-work cryptocurrency launched in 2014, designed for everyday electronic payments. It features a one-minute block time, significantly faster than Bitcoin's ten minutes, and a maximum supply of 105 million coins. Groestlcoin was one of the first to activate Segregated Witness (SegWit) and supports the Lightning Network for instant, private transactions with near-zero fees. It utilizes the Groestl hashing algorithm, which was a finalist in the NIST hash function competition, and is designed to be ASIC-resistant to allow for mining by individuals using GPUs.
